Cubs Beavers & Scouts

All sections meet at the Scout Hall, located just behind 53 Main Road, Sutton-at-Hone.

Beavers (6-8yrs) on Mondays 6-7.30pm

Cubs (8-11/12 yrs) on Wednesdays 6.30-8pm

Scouts (11/12 -14 yrs) on Fridays 7.30-9.30pm

Explorers (14-18 yrs) Mondays 8-10pm

Guide Troop

Are you interested in your daughter joining Rainbows, Brownies or Guides? If so, 1st Horton Kirby Rainbows meet on Wednesdays, 1st Horton Kirby Brownies and Guides both meet on Tuesday.  To register interest please go to www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested  and complete an application form.

 

Public Rights of Way (PROWs)

Footpaths/PROWs, including bridleways and byways are the responsibility of Kent County Council. Any problems should be reported to them on 08458 345 0210 or by using their website www.kent.gov.uk

We do have a supply of maps showing PROWs in this parish which is free of charge from the parish rooms, collection only please.

 

Roads & Pavements/Footways

The condition of the roads and pavements are the responsibility of Kent County Council-Highways Division. Any faults should be reported to them by accessing the Kent County Council website www.kent.gov.uk or by ringing 03000 41 81 81

 

HASARA (Active retirement)

HASARA (Hawley & Sutton Active Retirement Association) is a club for retired/semi-retired active people over the age of 55 which offers a variety of activities and outings and the chance to meet new acquaintances in a friendly atmosphere.

Our meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at The Scout Hall, Sutton at Hone, from 1.30pm until 3.15pm.

Membership is by annual subscription which is currently £10.00 with a £1 entrance fee at monthly meetings. Visitors and guests can attend up to 2 meetings paying £2 per meeting

Activities include:-

Keep Fit  (weekly)

Ten Pin Bowling (monthly) – Short Mat Bowls (weekly)

Pub Lunch (monthly)

Local walks (seasonal – monthly) – Petanque –

Board games and darts

Horton Kirby Short Mat Bowls Club

This club meets every Wednesday at Horton Kirby Village Hall, 1.45pm. new members welcome, experience not necessary.
