Residents will shortly be receiving their Council Tax bills, and we felt it important to explain the increase in the Parish Council’s precept. The precept is the amount the Parish Council sets to fund the services and amenities we provide for Sutton-at-Hone and Hawley.

Sutton-at-Hone & Hawley Parish Council submitted a response to Sevenoaks District Council's Local Plan consultation, and specifically those proposed sites that we believe will have a direct impact on Sutton-at-Hone & Hawley Parish Council.

The Parish Council shares many of the concerns that residents have raised about traffic, safety and accessibility in the village. It’s frustrating for us too - we see these issues every day, but our powers are limited.
