Gas Network Update Shirehall Rd

NEWS FROM SGN:

We are writing to give you an update on our project to upgrade our gas network in the Shirehall Road
area of Hawley, Dartford.

Due to the position of the pipes in the road, and to ensure the safety of everyone around our
worksite we have needed to close Shirehall Road, and roads adjoining while we carried out our work.
Engineering work to upgrade our old metal gas mains and services with new plastic pipe was
completed on Friday 17 November.

We are now working to restore the road surface, and all being well this will be completed, and the
road reopened by the end of the day on Wednesday 22 November.

SGN and WCB would like to thank residents and road users for their patience and understanding
while we carried out these essential works.
