Councillor Vacancy Sutton-at-Hone & Hawley Parish Council currently has one vacancy for the position of Parish Councillor for the Sutton-at-Hone ward.

Following the recent advertisement of a casual vacancy and completion of the statutory notice period, Dartford Borough Council has confirmed that no request for an election was received from electors. The Parish Council may therefore proceed to fill the vacancy by co-option.

The closing date for applications is 5.00pm on Wednesday 18 March 2026. Applicants will then be invited to attend the Full Council Meeting on Thursday 19 March 2026, where co-option will be considered.
